Vintage wooden topwater fishing lure featuring a yellow and black scale-patterned body, black painted eyes with yellow surrounds, and a distinctive angled mouth with red interior.

This collectible surface lure has an elongated, tapered wooden body, detailed scale markings, three metal treble hooks, and classic vintage fishing lure construction. Its unusual open-mouth design and yellow perch-style coloring make it an interesting addition to a collection of antique fishing tackle.

Condition: Vintage used condition with noticeable paint cracking, scratches, chips, finish loss, and general wear consistent with age and use. Areas of exposed underlying finish are visible, particularly along the sides and upper body. Both painted eyes are present. All three treble hooks are attached and show oxidation and age-related discoloration. The wooden body appears intact in the photographs.
